[01-02-2022] Two People Killed, One Person Injured After a House Fire near Presidio Street and Harris AvenueTwo people were killed, while one person was seriously injured after a house fire in North Sacramento on Sunday morning, January 2, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at around 7:45 a.m. near Presidio Street and Harris Avenue.

A fire broke out in a home on Presidio Street for unclear reasons. Firefighters later arrived at the scene and pulled three people out of the burning building.

The three patients were rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, two of the victims were later pronounced dead.

One woman is currently in critical condition. It’s unclear what caused the fire, but arson has been ruled out from the factors.

Local authorities are further investigating the tragic case.
