[01-03-2022] Two People Hurt Following a Two-Vehicle Crash in Suisun CityTwo people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Suisun City on Monday evening, January 3, 2022.

The crash transpired at approximately 9:00 p.m. near Highway 12 and Emperor Drive in Suisun City.

An officer was initially responding to a suspected DUI accident in the area when another motorist suddenly struck their patrol car.

It’s unclear why the other vehicle crashed into the patrol car. The patrol vehicle had its emergency light on at the time of the crash.

The officer sustained unspecified injuries in the crash and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Another person was also injured in the accident and was treated at the scene.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident.
