[01-04-2022] Kern County, CA – One Person Hurt After a Pedestrian Crash in Bakersfield

One unidentified person was injured after a pedestrian crash in northeast Bakersfield on Tuesday evening, January 4, 2022.

The accident occurred at approximately 5:51 p.m. near the Foods Co. on Haley and Height Streets in northeast Bakersfield.

The pedestrian was struck by an unspecified vehicle for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.

The unidentified pedestrian sustained moderate injuries in the crash. They were immediately taken to Kern Medical for treatment.

Local authorities are further investigating the crash.
