[01-07-2022] One Killed, Another Injured Following a Deadly Two-Vehicle Collision in HesperiaOne unidentified person was killed while another person was hurt after a fatal two-vehicle crash in Hesperia on Friday morning, January 7, 2022.

The accident transpired at approximately 8:43 a.m. on State Route 138 near Summit Post Office Road in Hesperia.

For unclear reasons, a beige Honda and a white Kia Optima collided on the roadway. The Honda overturned due to the severity of the impact.

Unfortunately, the Honda driver could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Kia driver sustained unspecified injuries in the crash and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Information about the crash is limited at the moment.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
