[01-08-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – One Woman Injured After Car Crashes into Building in Baldwin Park

One female sustained injuries after a car crashed into a structure in Baldwin Park on Sunday afternoon, January 8, 2023.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 1:20 p.m. at the 4100 Block of La Rica Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered a vehicle that had struck the Ramirez Meat Market, rendering the structure unsupportable.

The injured victim was inside the shop when she was struck by the vehicle. She was transported by paramedics to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, an elderly female, was uninjured.

The cause was still being investigated, although human error could have played a factor.
