A multi-vehicle collision is one sort of automotive accident. This sort of accident occurs when three or more vehicles collide. This type of collision is called a “chain-reaction” collision because it can lead to collisions with other vehicles on the road if one vehicle collides with another.

In multi-vehicle collisions involving passenger automobiles, more than 13,000 people are killed each year, accounting for more than 40 percent of all motor vehicle accidents in the United States.

Drivers who operate their vehicles aggressively or recklessly are putting other people’s lives unnecessarily at risk. Innocent people shouldn’t have to suffer due to someone’s careless actions on the road.
