One person was airlifted to a trauma center after a two-vehicle collision in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Sunday afternoon, January 12, 2025.
The crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Corwin Road and Tao Road, involving a gray Toyota Tacoma and a black GMC truck.
The Tacoma sustained significant front-end damage, while the GMC was damaged near the right passenger tire area.
Emergency responders from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District arrived at the scene. The injured individual was initially transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center and later airlifted to a trauma center in Antelope Valley for advanced treatment.
Animal control was called to assist with two small dogs at the crash site, but the request was later canceled for unknown reasons.
