[01-13-2022] One Person Killed After a Pedestrian Crash on Folsom BoulevardAn unidentified person was injured following a deadly pedestrian crash involving two vehicles in East Sacramento on Thursday afternoon, January 13, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at around 1:20 p.m. at Folsom Boulevard and 60th Street.

A woman was walking across the intersection when she was suddenly struck by two cars for unclear reasons.

The unidentified woman was immediately rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries and died in the hospital.

No other injuries were reported. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
