[01-14-2022] Riverside County, CA – Elderly Woman Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Lake Elsinore

A 69-year-old woman identified as Deborah M. was killed following a deadly pedestrian crash in Lake Elsinore on Sunday night, January 9, 2022.

The fatal accident transpired at approximately 5:40 p.m. on the northbound lanes of 15 Freeway, just south of Nichols Road.

The elderly woman was walking along the side of the freeway when she was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle.

The woman was rushed to Valley Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
