[01-15-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Downey

One unidentified person was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash in Downey on Saturday night, January 15, 2022.

The fatal accident occurred on the eastbound 105 Freeway transition to the northbound 605 Freeway in Downey at around 9:30 p.m.

An unidentified pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian could not survive their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The number of vehicles involved and the identities of the involved parties has not been disclosed. It’sIt’s unclear whether drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
