A 12-year-old pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Danville early Monday evening, January 15, 2024.

According to the Danville Police Department, the collision occurred around 5:31 p.m. on Diablo Road, near Richard Lane and Vista Grande Elementary.

Reports indicate the child sustained minor injuries and was taken to the local hospital. Information on the driver remains undisclosed.
