A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Clarita on Monday afternoon, January 15, 2024.

According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the collision occurred at around 4:03 p.m. on the 28000 block of Smyth Drive near Copper Hill Drive.

The rider was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. There was no information available about the other driver involved.

The use of alcohol or drugs was dismissed as a factor in the collision. Further details have yet to be released by the authorities.
