According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at around 7:00 p.m. in the 23000 block of Via Barra in Valencia.

An unidentified person was riding a skateboard when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons.

The rider was rushed to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. The identity of the victim and his condition have not been disclosed.
