[01-18-2022] Fresno County, CA – One Person Injured After a Bicycle Crash at East Shaw Avenue and Nort Blackstone Avenue

One unidentified person was hurt following a traffic crash involving a bicyclist at a Fresno intersection on early Tuesday morning, January 18, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Shaw Avenue and Blackstone Avenue at around 6:00 a.m.

A bicyclist was struck by a passing vehicle on the eastbound side of East Shaw Avenue. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.

The bicycle rider sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
