[01-19-2023] Two People Killed After Three-Vehicle Collision in FlorinTwo people were killed following a multi-vehicle collision in Florin, Sacramento County, on Thursday morning, January 19, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred at 10:18 a.m. along Florin Perkins Road in the northbound lanes, north of Florin Road.

The CHP’s incident log reported that three vehicles were involved in the crash, two of which were sedans, and one of them toppled during the collision.

The number of people involved remains unclear, but two people were killed and multiple injuries are possible. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will reveal the names of the deceased victims after informing the family.

Florin Perkins Road’s northbound and southbound lanes were both shut down as of 11:00 a.m. as investigators looked into the fatal clash.
