A 30-year-old man identified as Ruben C. Jr. was killed following a fatal motorcycle crash in West Hills on Thursday afternoon, January 20, 2022.

The 30-year-old man was riding a stolen motorcycle in the 22800 block of West Roscoe Boulevard when he crashed into an oncoming car. The motorcycle rider was reportedly attempting to evade officers.

The motorcycle rider was traveling at 100 mph at the time of the accident. Due to the severity of the impact, he was ejected from his motorcycle and landed 100 feet from the crash site.

The motorcycle rider was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two occupants in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
