[01-20-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed, Four Others Injured After a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in Twentynine Palms

A 47-year-old woman identified as Christiellen A. was killed in a deadly two-vehicle crash in Twentynine Palms on Thursday morning, January 20, 2022.

[01-20-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - One Person Killed, Four Others Injured After a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in Twentynine PalmsThe fatal traffic accident transpired at approximately 6:10 a.m. in the area of Indian Trail and Morongo Road.

A black Nissan Pathfinder was heading south on Monroe Road when it crashed into the passenger side of an eastbound black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado on Indian Trail.

A female passenger in the Nissan was rushed to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment, but she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, a six-year-old boy was seriously injured and was taken to Loma Linda Medical Center. A 12-year-old girl also sustained injuries and was rushed to Desert Regional for treatment.

The Nissan Pathfinder driver sustained moderate injuries in the mishap. He was identified as 49-year-old Joel A. He was taken to MCAGCC base hospital to receive treatment.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
