[01-21-2022] Kern County, CA - One Person Killed Following a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in OildaleA 43-year-old man identified as Edward Valdez R. was killed after a deadly two-vehicle collision in Oildale on Friday morning, January 21, 2022.

The fatal collision took place on Norris Road, west of Melody Lane in Oildale, at approximately 7:19 a.m.

A westbound Honda was traveling on Norris Road at high speeds when it crashed into a truck making a U-turn on Norris Road.

The Honda driver was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Alcohol and drugs were not considered factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
