One person was killed while two others were seriously hurt after a two-vehicle crash in Mission Hills on Monday morning, January 24, 2022.

A sedan driver stopped on the shoulder of the roadway to change a tire when a white cargo truck suddenly struck it.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and was immediately extricated by emergency personnel.

Unfortunately, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two others sustained major injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
