A 59-year-old male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento on Wednesday evening, January 24, 2024.
The Sacramento Police Department stated that the accident occurred on the 1400 block of Garden Highway close to Gateway Oaks Drive at around 7:00 p.m.
The victim, later identified by the county coroner as Jeffrey B., passed away at the scene.
