[01-25-2022] Kern County, CA – One Person Killed Following a Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Bakersfield

One unidentified woman was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash in Bakersfield on early Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022.

The female pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

The female pedestrian was seriously injured in the mishap. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver that struck the woman remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
