Two people were killed while another person was injured after a pedestrian accident in San Jose on Tuesday evening, January 25, 2022.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at around 8:24 p.m. in the area of Foxworthy Avenue in San Jose.
A northbound 2017 Toyota sedan drove through Almaden Expressway when it struck three pedestrians crossing from the west side expressway.
The sedan had a green light at the intersection at the time of the accident. The two male pedestrians were rushed to an area hospital but were later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the female pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities.
An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
