Three people were injured after a traffic collision involving a suspected hit-and-run driver in Ceres on Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022.

A northbound Nissan sedan struck the center-left side of a Dodge Ram pickup truck for unclear reasons. Due to the severity of the impact, the Dodge landed on the sedan’s roof.

The Dodge driver left the scene before authorities arrived. Emergency personnel later arrived in the area and extricated the Nissan driver and its passengers.

The Nissan driver sustained major injuries in the mishap. Meanwhile, both his passengers were also seriously hurt in the crash.
