[01-25-2023] Butte County, CA – One Person Suffered Injuries Following Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99

According to authorities, the crash transpired around 5:02 p.m. at Highway 99 and Highway 162 East.

Officials were called to the scene and discovered one car was on its side, and one person needed extrication.

The victim was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The California Highway Patrol stated that northbound traffic on Highway 99 was being rerouted onto Highway 162 and that southbound traffic was still moving slowly through the area.

Highway 99 was reopened after the collision scene was cleaned up.
