[01-25-2023] Head-On Crash Near Guerneville Kills One PersonOne person was confirmed dead after a two-vehicle crash in Sonoma County on Wednesday morning, January 25, 2023.

The fatal crash reportedly occurred around 10:45 a.m. at River Road and Bonita Avenue, between Guerneville and Rio Nido.

According to authorities, a black pickup truck and a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV were at the crash scene.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and details surrounding their identity have not been released.

As of 1:30 p.m., the vehicles blocking the road still need to be put in the way.
