[01-26-2023] Two-Vehicle Crash in North Highlands Hospitalized One PersonOne person was hospitalized after being trapped in a car following a two-vehicle collision in Sacramento County on Thursday morning, January 26, 2023.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the crash reported at around 11:00 a.m. occurred at the 32nd Street and Elkhorn Boulevard intersection in North Highlands.

The circumstances leading to the crash were not yet established, but two vehicles were reportedly involved. Metro Fire reported that one of the cars rolled over to its side.

Responders arrived at the scene and had to extricate one person trapped in the wreckage. An individual was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. No updates on their current condition were released.

The number of people involved and the extent of possible injuries were not immediately available as the investigation continued.
