Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Valley Springs, Calaveras County, Friday night, January 26, 2024.

According to Calaveras Consolidated Fire, the collision happened at the Vista Del Lago and Highway 26 intersection.

Authorities stated that the accident involved a woman driver and a motorcycle rider, who was later confirmed to be only 12 years old. Both were injured and was taken to the nearby hospital following the crash.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The names of the two people involved are yet to be revealed.
