One unidentified person was found dead following a deadly hit-and-run crash in El Camino Avenue on Thursday morning, January 27, 2022.

Officers received a report about an unoccupied vehicle that was suspected of having been involved in the crash. The driver in the first vehicle was nowhere to be found when officers arrived at the scene.

The officers later received another report about a second vehicle out of the roadway at El Camino Avenue. The vehicle was found resting on an embankment near Business 80.

The second driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed. Information about the first driver’s whereabouts is unavailable at the moment.
