At least four people were hurt after a multi-vehicle crash in Mission Valley on Thursday afternoon, January 27, 2022.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 8 near Mission Center Road.
A cement truck was initially overturned on the roadway, triggering a collision involving multiple vehicles.
Three people were rushed to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest, while one other person was taken to Jacobs Medical Center in La Jolla.
The identities of the injured parties and their condition has not been disclosed. Information about the crash is limited at the moment.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
