[01-27-2023] One Person Sent to Hospital After North Highlands Two-Car CrashAuthorities reported that at least one individual was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision in Sacramento County on Friday morning, January 27, 2023.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the report of a crash that trapped one person was received at 8:00 a.m. and occurred on Garfield and Spruce avenues in North Highlands.

The investigators have not yet established the circumstances leading to the collision, but two vehicles were reportedly involved. One person was extricated after being trapped in the wreckage and taken to the hospital after sustaining critical injuries.

Further information on the victim’s current condition, the number of people involved, and the extent of possible injuries were not released as the investigation continued.
