Reports confirmed that the fatal crash transpired around 2:31 p.m. at the intersection of Ben Maddox Street and Douglas Avenue.

Authorities responded to calls of a traffic collision and discovered that two vehicles were involved.

Paramedics transported three people to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment – but one was pronounced dead when they arrived.

Officials added that the other two people were being treated for their injuries.
