Two drivers were killed following a deadly head-on traffic collision on Belmont and Zediker avenue on Friday evening, January 28, 2022.

An eastbound white Toyota Camry attempted to pass two vehicles by entering the oncoming traffic lane but collided head-on with an oncoming silver sedan.

Both drivers were killed in the crash. The Toyota driver was identified as Erin O., while the silver sedan driver was identified as Jose Ruiz Z.

Local authorities suspect that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the accident.
