[01-29-2022] Marin County, CA – One Person Killed After a Deadly Bicycle Crash near White Hill Preserve

A 58-year-old man identified as Gregory Scott C. was killed following a deadly bicycle crash near White Hill Preserve on Saturday morning, January 29, 2022.

An eastbound Honda SUV was initially traveling on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard when it swerved into the shoulder and crashed into a bicyclist.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the bicycle rider on the roadway. They performed CPR on him before he was rushed to Marin Health Medical Center. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The Honda ended up rolling into a ditch following the collision. The Honda driver sustained minor injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash. An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
