Several injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash involving a wrong-way driver in Linda Vista on Saturday morning, January 29, 2022.

A dark-colored sedan was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of I-15 and later drove through SR 163, still heading the wrong way.

Later, it collided with several oncoming vehicles near Friars Road and Linda Vista. It’sIt’s unclear why the driver was driving in the wrong direction. At least four vehicles were involved in the collision.

One of the involved vehicles overturned and sustained serious damage. Several injuries were reported after the crash. The number of injured parties and their identities have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the crash. They suspect that DUI may have been a factor in the collision.
