Two people were killed while three others were injured following a fatal head-on traffic crash near La Grange on early Saturday morning, January 29, 2022.

A northbound blue Kia 2021 drifted into the southbound lanes for unclear reasons and crashed head-on with an oncoming 2017 Acura RDX.

Unfortunately, the Kia driver and her passenger were both killed in the collision. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, three people inside the 2017 Acura, including the driver, sustained minor injuries in the mishap. They were taken to Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

Local authorities are further investigating the accident. They will attempt to determine the factors and the liability in the fatal crash.
