[01-31-2023] Bicyclist Killed After Car Crash in Roseville near RocklinA bicyclist was killed after being hit by a car in Roseville near the Rocklin border on early Tuesday morning, January 31, 2023.

According to the Roseville Police Department, the fatal crash occurred around 5:00 a.m. along Pacific/Taylor Road near Stonehouse Court.

The circumstances leading to the crash are still being investigated, but a bicyclist was killed while the car driver reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further details on the driver and the victim’s identities were released as the investigation continued. Alcohol or drugs are not currently considered factors.

California Highway Patrol reported that the westbound I-80 on-ramp at Taylor Road and the eastbound I-80 off-ramp were closed due to the crash.
