[02-01-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Elderly Man Killed in a Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Alhambra

An unidentified elderly man was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash in Alhambra on Tuesday morning, February 1st, 2022.

The accident happened in the 2900 block of West Valley Boulevard in Alhambra at approximately 9:38 a.m.

An eastbound vehicle was traveling on West Valley Boulevard when the driver lost control of his vehicle and veered into the south sidewalk. He struck a 74-year-old man walking along the sidewalk.

Unfortunately, the 74-year-old man could not survive his injuries and was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been disclosed.

The involved driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
