[02-01-2022] Eight People Injured After a Major Two-Vehicle Crash in GaltEight people were hurt following a major two-vehicle traffic crash in Galt on Tuesday afternoon, February 1, 2022.

The major collision happened at approximately 3:15 p.m. in the area of Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane.

A minivan and another unspecified vehicle were involved in the collision. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.

Two people were ejected from the minivan and were critically injured. They were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Meanwhile, six others sustained minor to major injuries following the mishap. The identities of the involved parties have not been revealed.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
