[02-01-2022] Stanislaus County, CA – Three Boys Killed After a Deadly Big Rig Crash in Modesto

Three young boys were killed after a fatal traffic collision involving a big rig in Modesto on Tuesday evening, February 1st, 2022.

[02-01-2022] Stanislaus County, CA - Three Boys Killed After a Deadly Big Rig Crash in ModestoThe deadly collision occurred at Carver Road and West Briggsmore Avenue in Modesto at approximately 4:15 p.m.

A big rig struck the vehicle that the three boys were riding in. Authorities believe that the big rig driver may have run a red light at the intersection before the accident.

Two of the boys were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third one was rushed to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The boys were students at Grace M. Davis High School.

Two other parties sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
