[02-01-2025] Elderly Man in Motorized Wheelchair Killed in Crash at East Stockton Boulevard and Power Inn Road in FlorinAn 81-year-old man in a motorized wheelchair died after being hit by a vehicle in Florin, Sacramento County, on Saturday morning, February 1, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 7:48 a.m. at the intersection of East Stockton Boulevard and Power Inn Road.

The elderly man was crossing northbound at the intersection when a 60-year-old woman turned left from Power Inn Road onto Stockton Boulevard, leading to the collision.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the man succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities have not yet determined who had the right of way. Investigators are also looking into whether DUI or foul play were factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released at this time.
