[02-02-2022] One Person Hurt Following a Bicycle Crash in TurlockA 17-year-old boy was injured after a bicycle crash in Turlock on Wednesday evening, February 2, 2022.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. on South Golden State Boulevard and East F Street in Turlock.

A westbound Dodge minivan was traveling on East F Street when the driver attempted to make a southbound turn to South Golden State Boulevard.

Meanwhile, the 17-year-old bicyclist was crossing in the crosswalk of South Golden State Boulevard and was struck by the Dodge minivan.

The 17-year-old bicycle rider sustained minor injuries in the mishap and was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. The Dodge driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities.

The Turlock Police Department is further investigating the cause of the crash.
