[02-05-2022] Fresno County, CA – Five People Killed, Two Others Seriously Injured Following a Deadly Crash near Table Mountain Casino

Five people were killed, while two others were seriously hurt after a major traffic collision near a Casino on Saturday morning, February 5, 2022.

The deadly accident occurred near Millerton Road and Marina Drive, near Table Mountain Casino, at around 4:30 a.m.

A westbound 2016 Hyundai Accent traveled on Millerton Road when it crossed the double yellow lines near Marina Drive and collided head-on with an oncoming eastbound 2003 Honda Accord.

Several people were extricated by emergency personnel from the wreckage. At least two people sustained major injuries in the mishap and were rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Unfortunately, the Hyundai driver and three of his passengers were killed following the crash. A passenger inside the Honda was also killed in the mishap. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the accident.
