[02-05-2023] Santa Barbara County, CA – Two-Car Crash on Highway 101 Resulted in Two Critical Injuries

According to authorities, the collision occurred around 4:40 p.m. near the Donovan Road exit ramp on the northbound freeway.

Reports stated that a motorcycle and car collided, which left two people with serious injuries.

A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene and landed on the freeway to transport at least one victim to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

The identities of the patients and information regarding their medical conditions were unknown.

The northbound lanes were closed in the collision area, and officers began conducting traffic breaks at Clark Avenue.

Investigations on the crash are ongoing.
