[02-05-2025] Two People Killed After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Main Street in El CentroTwo people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in El Centro on Wednesday afternoon, February 5, 2025.

According to the El Centro Fire Department, the crash occurred at Main Street and Fairfield Drive.

Surveillance footage from a nearby business showed a vehicle striking another car making a left turn before colliding with a second vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where one driver was pronounced dead inside their vehicle. Three people were inside the second vehicle hit, with one being transported to the hospital. The driver who caused both crashes also died at the scene.

Authorities are investigating whether street racing played a role in the incident. No further details were immediately available.
