[02-06-2022] One Person Killed Following a Deadly Wrong-Way Crash in TehachapiOne unidentified person was killed after a deadly wrong-way crash in Tehachapi on Saturday night, February 6, 2022.

The deadly collision took place in the westbound lanes of Highway 58, north of Tehachapi, at approximately 9:48 p.m.

A semi-trailer truck traveled on Highway 58 when a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction crashed into the semi-truck. Another semi-truck was also involved in the collision.

Unfortunately, one person was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the crash. They will also attempt to determine the liability in the accident.
