[02-06-2022] Riverside County, CA – Woman Killed After a Deadly Train Crash near Marlborough Avenue

An unidentified woman was killed after getting struck by a commuter train on Chicago Avenue on Sunday night, February 6, 2022.

The accident occurred near the Chicago and Marlborough Avenue railroad crossing at approximately 7:00 p.m.

A train conductor saw a woman sitting on the tracks for unclear reasons, the conductor then sounded the horns, but the woman did not move.

Unfortunately, the train conductor could not stop in time and struck the woman. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear why she was sitting on the tracks at the time of the accident.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
