A 4-month-old boy was killed following a deadly rear-end crash in Victorville on early Tuesday morning, February 8, 2022.

A northbound Hyundai SUV failed to slow down and rear-ended the vehicle in front of her. The Hyundai was then disabled following the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle did not stop and drove away from the scene. Unfortunately, an infant inside the Hyundai’s right rear passenger seat sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

The two-month-old infant was rushed to Victor Valley Global Medical Center but was pronounced dead half an hour later.

The mother was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and sustained minor injuries in the crash.
