[02-08-2022] One Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Santa MariaAccording to police, a female driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Beth Court on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred around 7:00 p.m. near Beth Court and Alvin Avenue.

According to authorities, a car driver also made an unsafe turning movement while driving the wrong way, colliding head-on with a truck.

As a result, the female driver was airlifted to a nearby hospital with a serious head injury.

Sadly, the woman, who was only identified as a Santa Maria resident, died as a result of her injuries in the hospital.

The driver of the truck, on the other hand, was reportedly uninjured.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
