[02-09-2023] Multi-Vehicle Collision in Myrtletown Results in Possible InjuriesAuthorities reported a four-vehicle collision that resulted in possible injuries in the census-designated place of Myrtletown in Humboldt County on Thursday afternoon, February 09, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol and Eureka Police Department, the multi-vehicle crash occurred at about 2:00 p.m. at the Harrison Avenue and Buhne Street intersection.

Four vehicles were said to have been involved. A white Toyota Tacoma and Honda Civic were both damaged on the front and rear ends. The two other cars were not identified. The total number of people involved and the extent of possible injuries remain under further investigation.

The Humboldt Bay Fire Department was called to the scene to clean up some fluid that leek from two cars.

The crash caused traffic delays, and motorists were advised to avoid the area for the clearing-up operation.

Two-Vehicle Accident Statistics
