[02-10-2022] Fresno County, CA – Woman Seriously Injured Following a DUI Pedestrian Crash on Palm and Olive Avenues

An unidentified woman was seriously injured after a pedestrian crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Fresno on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash transpired in the area of Palm and Olive Avenues.

A pickup truck initially involved in a hit-and-run crash struck the woman after running g a red light at the intersection.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the woman seriously hurt on the roadway. She was immediately taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where she was listed in critical condition.

Authorities then apprehended the driver and arrested him on multiple charges, including DUI.

The Fresno Police Department is further investigating the case.
